Community Forum on Transition Services

A community forum on transition services for individuals with disabilities was held on October 30, 2018, in Dublin, Georgia.  The forum provided information on the availability of resources for individuals with disabilities in the Heart of Georgia Region.  A recording of the forum and links to all resources shared are available on this page.

Georgia ABLE Program

An ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) account is a savings account that will allow people with disabilities to save money for qualified disability expenses without violating the $2,000 asset limits that apply to eligibility for Medicaid and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). It is limited to individuals with significant disabilities who became disabled before age 26.
